Dr Bennett from Eloff and Andrews Clinical Psychology Presents -
Anxiety in Children and Teens with Autism
About this Workshop :
Worry and anxiety is a normal part of a child's development, but children and teenagers with autism spectrum disorder can experience anxiety more intensely and more often than other children. In this workshop, Clinical Psychologist, Dr Laura Bennett will talk about how you can help your child with autism to notice anxious feelings and then implement strategies for managing this anxiety. Laura will also discuss ways to talk to your other children about their sibling's anxiety so that they can better understand why their sibling is at times treated differently.
